A fire broke out in the electric meter room of a residential building in Maharashtra's Thane city on Monday, destroying 40 meters, civic officials said.
No person was injured in the blaze, which started at 4.08 am on the ground floor of the seven-storey 'Anand Vilha' building located in the Charai area, Thane's regional disaster management cell (RDMC) chief Yasin Tadvi said.
