Despite clear instructions from the education board, schools refuse to take any chances during emergencies, causing panic among students

Incident: Four dyslexic students from St Dominic Savio High School in Mahakali Caves, Andheri, went to the Sri Sathya High School to appear for the SSC exams
Problem: Though their examination centre was the Kala Vidya Mandir High School and Junior College in Marol, the students had written to the education board and asked for a centre close their house. They failed to get permission
Solution: Authorities asked them to produce emergency bar code numbers. Since they did not have the numbers, the school contacted board officials. The students lost valuable time during the chaos and began their paper late

Incident: On the first day of the SSC exams, two students from the western suburbs were stopped from appearing for the paper for a while
Problem: Their hall tickets did not have their signatures
Solution:The centre called up their principals to confirm whether they were indeed students of the school
