Kids keep Christmas spirit alive at old age home and orphanage

Wishing to keep the festivities going, catechism students of St Joseph’s Church in Airoli organised a cultural programme; handed out presents and gifts too

Wanting to spread the festive cheer and let the celebrations continue, catechism students of St Joseph’s Church in Airoli made their way to a children’s orphanage and a senior citizen’s home in Ambernath. Students said that the visit, which took place on January 5, was to spread joy and cheer all around.
The catechism kids were accompanied by other members of the parish to Anugraha, an orphanage home and Ashray — a senior citizens’ home. The children put on an elaborate show for them and even danced for them. At the orphanage, the children conducted a sports carnival, where everyone played games, such as ring throwing and confetti race.
