Kurla landslide: NDRF to continue search and rescue operations, say officials

Following the NDRF's arrival, five bodies were recovered from the debris.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Wednesday night said that its search and rescue operations at the a landslide site at Garib Nawab Chawl in Ashok Nagar, Kurla West area of Mumbai would further continue.
The landslide was reported at around 3:38 am, with several people feared trapped under the debris. Team 5F of the 5th Battalion NDRF, which had been pre-positioned at Ghatkopar for monsoon duty, was mobilised along with its canine, K9 Jessy.
