Sunday brought bad news for former ministers and incumbent MLAs, mainly from the Congress and NCP, as the election results showed voters had rejected them. Among the heavyweights who bit the dust were State Housing Minister Sachin Ahir, Health Minister Suresh Shetty, four-time Bandra West MLA Baba Siddiqui and three-time Colaba MLA Annie Shekhar.
