Maharashtra SSC and HSC board exams: Over 180 centres lack CCTVs in classrooms

Classrooms that fail to comply with this requirement have been instructed to make alternative arrangements, including exchanging supervising teachers with other centres, to ensure unbiased invigilation

As many as 58 of the 670 Class 12 examination centres and 127 of the 1,004 Class 10 centres still do not have CCTV surveillance in every classroom ahead of the board examinations, official sources said.

In its bid to conduct ‘copy-free’ exams, the Maharashtra State Board had directed all exam centres to install CCTV cameras not only along their premises but also inside every classroom for close monitoring.
