With Prime Minister Narendra Modi&rsquo;s visit to Mumbai, the National Sports Complex of India (NSCI), a premium club, has once again found itself in trouble. Modi launched the Make In India Week at the club&rsquo;s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium on Saturday.

This, for the odd 15,000 members meant that the NSCI club&rsquo;s doors were closed to them for the day. Members have floated a solution &mdash; that the club and the stadium be divorced.
Viren Shah, one of the elected members of the club sent out messages via social media, in which he had written: It's surely &lsquo;Proud moment for 15,000 members&rsquo; that honourable Prime Minister of India is visiting our Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Stadium. With due respect to our Prime Minister and his VVIP security concern, we members request, management create a wall and divide the club into two.
Shah said, &ldquo;The PM&rsquo;s visit is a matter of prestige for our reputed club, but if we have a separate entry and exit it will be favourable to all future VIP events.&rdquo;

&ldquo;The management has always treated the interest of the members of the Club with utmost priority and has taken care of the members interest at all point of time.
&ldquo;At times, when sports matches are held, part of the Club is cordoned off. In such cases, you never enquire; however, when we stood by a noble cause like Make In India programme you are stirring trouble,&rdquo; said Jayantilal Shaha, president of the club.
NSCI has had its share of controversies last year after the chief minister&rsquo;s convoy created a traffic jam, and again when the Jerry Seinfeld show scheduled at the stadium was cancelled at the last moment.
