Ghatkopar-based cook Vinoo Bhatia, 22, lost balance while travelling in a Churchgate-bound train and fell, hitting his head on the rocks on the track last Wednesday. He is under observation at the ICU of Sion Hospital, and is still in a coma.

Bhatia was standing on the footboard of the train when it suddenly jerked and he lost balance. Doctors at Sion Hospital said, "The impact of the accident was so hard that it has developed blood clots in Bhatia's brain. Due to injury on his face, a lot of air cavities have also developed in his brain that will take time to heal." They added that he is lucky to be alive, but will take time to recover.
