Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday directed the health department to bring most of its services online and make them available through the official "Aaple Sarkar" portal with a view to improving transparency, accessibility, and efficiency.

Chairing a review meeting of the department at the state legislature complex, where the monsoon session is going on currently, Fadnavis noted secretaries must prepare time-bound action plans for ongoing and proposed urban healthcare projects to ensure their timely execution.

The CM emphasised the need to strengthen primary healthcare infrastructure across both rural and urban areas.
