The three day-long strike that kept around 1,700 Meru Cabs off the roads was called off on Saturday. The Nitish Rane-led Swabhimaan Sanghatan intervened and claimed that all five demands of the Meru union have been accepted and 21 drivers who were suspended had been reinstated.<br /><br />Rajesh Puri, CEO Meru Cabs said, "By Sunday, the entire fleet of 2,000 cabs will be back on the roads."
