Mumbai Airport: 54-year-old man dies after falling from T2 parking lot

A 54-year-old man died after falling from the parking lot of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport’s Terminal 2 in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon

A 54-year-old man fell to his death on Thursday from the parking lot of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Airport Terminal 2. Police have identified the deceased as Pramod Jadhav, who worked as the driver of a judge of the Bombay High Court. According to the Sahar police, the incident happened at around 12 pm. He was rushed to Cooper Hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.
Police Speak
“The incident is currently suspected to be a case of suicide. An employee who worked with the victim told us that right after they parked the vehicle at the P10 level, Jadhav ran to the edge and fell to his death. His body has been sent for post-mortem. An Accidental Death Report has been filed,” said an official from the Sahar police station. “The family of the man told us that he had been suffering from liver disease for the last five to six years,” added the official.
