Over 1,20,000 students have confirmed their provisional admissions on seats allotted to them in the first merit list of the centralised online admission process for the First Year of Junior College (FYJC). Even as the first merit list closed at a high cut-off, seats of most of the reputed colleges from the city are being filled up fast. Colleges, however, feel that by the end of the second round, the scenario will be clear, as currently most students have taken provisional admissions (reserved the admissions) to continue the process.
