A local goon and his accomplices manhandled a constable at Navghar police station in Mulund yesterday. The main accused, Chandrakant Gaikwad, was picked up on Saturday afternoon for harassing a 14-year-old girl.

After the 24-year-old was brought to the police station, his brothers Dadasaheb and Ashok and his friend, Manish, rushed to the spot and threatened the complainant of dire consequences if she didn’t withdraw her complaint.
