Maha ATS bust Mephedrone factory seize huge quantity of Narcotics

Further investigations revealed that Adake had manufactured Mephedrone drugs at Shree Alfa Chemicals at Purandar taluka in Pune

The narcotics were manufactured at Shree Alfa Chemicals in Pune
In December 2019, the Anti-Terrorism Squad, Juhu Unit of the Mumbai Police team had arrested accused Mahendra Parshuram Patil (49) and Santosh Balasaheb Adake (29) who were involved in trafficking of narcotic substance MD (Mephedrone) powder and seized 14.30 kg of MD drugs worth Rs 5.60 Crore from Vileparle, Mumbai and Saswad, Pune.
In pursuance of this, an offence was registered under sections 8 (C), 22, 29 NDPS Act, 1985 at ATS. Since then, the two arrested accused have been kept in judicial custody.
