A total 2,100 celebrities made it as nominees. While Bollywood (actors and film directors) and TV saw the maximum entrants, sports stars and musicians didn&rsquo;t fare too bad. What came as a surprise was that comics and authors made it to this grand list as well.
This diarist found the nominees under the latter category particularly intriguing, from politicians, Derek O&rsquo;Brien and Jairam Ramesh to sporting icons, Milkha Singh and Sachin Tendulkar, and star wife and writer, Twinkle Khanna. Cue in the trumpets.
