A home guard deployed in the ladies first-class compartment of a local train to ensure the safety of passengers after 9 pm, received a long lecture from some of the women travelling by the same local.

The cop, a regular on the route every night, had made it a habit to stand near the door, blocking one side and creating a problem for those trying to get off the train. On Thursday night on a Karjat-bound train, he was again seen blocking one side of the door, talking to a colleague standing on the platform.
