Mumbai Ganpati Visarjan 2026: 32,345 Ganesh idols immersed by midnight on fifth day

More than 32,000 Ganesh idols were immersed across Mumbai on the fifth day of Ganeshotsav, with no untoward incident reported, according to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s (BMC) immersion report up to midnight on Friday, September 19.
A total of 32,345 idols were immersed, including 31,647 household idols, 662 public idols and 36 Hartalika idols.
