The public health department of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) in partnership with Project StepOne (a doctor volunteer group) has started operating a remote monitoring system through Interactive Voice Response (IVR) calls to home isolated patients in Mumbai.

A toll-free emotional wellness helpline no. 1800-102-4040 has also been activated in partnership with Project Mumbai and Samvaad. A booklet titled — BMC Home Isolation (HI) Guide has been created for the benefit of the HI patients and caretakers. The booklet details all the home isolation SOPs, Dos and Don’ts, early warning signs to look out for, hygiene etiquettes, etc., and all ward war room numbers.
