<p>A contract labourer died while cleaning a water pipeline near Kala Ghoda in Fort on Saturday, said officials of the Mumbai Fire Brigade.</p>
<p>The deceased was identified as Pintu Singh, 34.</p>
<p>Around 3.30 pm on Saturday, the fire brigade received a call informing that two persons got stuck in the water pipeline while laying it near Kala Ghoda.</p>
<p>"Two persons got stuck in the pipeline while work was going on. One was rescued and sent to GT Hospital while another was missing and we carried out a search operation," said an official from the MFB.</p>
<p>Singh was found later and sent to JJ Hospital for treatment where he was declared brought dead. The second labourer, Sukarkumar Singh, 35, was treated and discharged from GT Hospital.</p><p>
