Mumbai University postpones July 6 exams amid heavy rain warning

The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students amid adverse weather conditions in Mumbai and surrounding regions, the university said. It further stated that the revised examination schedule will be released shortly on its official website

The University of Mumbai has postponed all examinations scheduled for Monday, July 6, in view of heavy rainfall and weather warnings issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Examination and Evaluation Board said in a circular on Saturday.
The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Mumbai for tomorrow. As a precautionary measure, the University of Mumbai has cancelled all examinations scheduled for July 6. pic.twitter.com/VVOrdStf3T
