Mumbai: See Shivaji Park in new light

Lights, equipment have been imported from Italy, and cost of the project, Rs 1.25 crore, including maintenance, has already been paid for through the CM’s MLC fund

As part of its beautification, the whole of Shivaji Park was illuminated with new additional lightings, and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray unveiled the LED projector lights put up around the statue of  Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on Thursday.

The multi-coloured changing LED projector lights will highlight various facets of the statue. The entire park has been illuminated with about 42 LED multi-colour globe lights along the pathway. The lights will be operated online.
