As if the ordeal of being raped wasn’t traumatising enough, a minor bled profusely and bore pain for over 60 hours before finally being admitted to a hospital as she was allegedly turned away. The seven-year-old survivor was ultimately admitted to the Shatabdi Hospital at Kandivli in a critical condition on the third day of the rape, after her family approached an NGO for help and members intervened. Her family has alleged that she was bleeding profusely, but the hospital staff had refused to admit her.
