Mumbai: Three arrested after hoax bomb call sends police into tizzy

Police traced the caller from the mobile number to Shil Phata area in neighbouring Thane. The caller turned out to be a truck driver from the Marathwada region, the official said

Three persons were arrested on Saturday after a hoax call claiming that bombs had been planted at three railway stations and actor Amitabh Bachchan's residence in the city led to hours-long futile searches, an official said.
No suspicious material was found at any of the four locations, the police spokesperson said.
