mid-day IMPACT: Mumbai traffic police crack down on illegal parking in Vile Parle

Following complaints by residents and a media report highlighting illegal parking on Gandhi Society Road in Vile Parle East, the Mumbai Traffic Police launched a crackdown and issued e-challans to 60 autorickshaws and tourist vehicles. Residents have welcomed the action, hoping it will bring long-term relief from parking and safety concerns

After mid-day highlighted how Gandhi Society Road in Vile Parle East had turned into a siesta spot for cab and auto drivers, making it difficult for residents to park their vehicles in front of their homes, the Mumbai traffic police swung into action, cracking down on illegal parking in the area.
