Central Railway’s Mobile UTS Sahayaks have issued tickets to over 5.40 lakh passengers at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) in Mumbai, generating revenue of Rs 6.89 crore within six months of the facility’s launch.
The initiative was introduced on October 31, 2025, with three Mobile UTS Sahayaks deployed at the terminus. Following a strong response from commuters and in view of the summer rush, the number was increased to eight in January 2026.
