Though everyone usually looks at the maximum temperature of the day, the credit for the current scenario of the city goes to the minimum temperature. On Saturday, the city recorded 28.2 degrees celsius as the minimum temperature, which is the highest in April in the last 10 years. In simple words, the day’s temperature didn’t come down below 28.2 degrees at any point, even during the night.

The graph of the temperature of any place can be defined by the minimum and maximum temperature of that particular day. Generally, the maximum temperature is reported at the noon around 2 to 3 pm and the minimum temperature, just before sunrise. Minimum temperatures during summer are important. “Temperature starts dropping after sunset and goes down during the night. But now the temperature at night remains high and people can’t expect respite from the heat even after midnight,” says a weather expert.
