Despite huge crowds in markets owing to the festival season, the Covid-19 cases in Mumbai declined further with 301 new cases and three deaths being reported on Saturday. Of the three reported deaths, two patients had comorbidities.
The doubling rate improved to 1,555 days on Saturday. The city’s recovery rate remained constant at 97 per cent as 463 people recovered and were discharged on Saturday. Meanwhile, 548 cases were reported in the MMR region, including cases from Mumbai.
