A fire broke out on Monday at a&nbsp;dumping ground in Mulund area here, civic officials said.

The blaze erupted at around 1.12 pm and five water&nbsp;tankers, one bulldozer and two water engines were deployed to&nbsp;douse the flames, officials of the Disaster Control department&nbsp;of Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai said.

The fire, which is yet to be put-out, was seen in&nbsp;certain areas of the dumping ground spread across a vast area,&nbsp;they said.
On March 20, fire had broken out at the Mulund and&nbsp;Deonar dumping grounds in the megapolis.
