The Skoda driver abruptly veered toward the Swift and thumped it, sending it reeling toward the Honda. It ricocheted off the Honda, swerved a 360 degrees, and came screeching back to the Skoda, until it capsized to land on its roof. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2011/mar/accident12.jpg" border="5" /> Pics/Sameer Markande The driver of the Swift, Sumit Shinde, was injured and was rescued an hour later when the fire brigade reached the spot. He was taken to Sion Hospital. The other four passengers escaped unharmed. While the Honda driver sped away immediately after the strike, the Skoda driver couldn't make a run for it as passers-by stopped him.
