The VP Road Police has registered a case of negligence against a team of doctors from Saifee Hospital. In 2018, Shreya Rajpure, 7, died during treatment. The girl’s father, Pradeep, alleged that the death was a result of negligence.

The JJ Hospital doctors’ panel confirmed the allegation. A VP Road police officer said they are gathering information about which doctor was in charge. “We will support the authorities with whatever information is required, ” said a Saifee Hospital official.
