After sending desperate SMSes to Mumbaikars to use the BWSL, toll agency may slash one-way rates by 20 per cent during non-peak hours on weekdays
It promised a lot, but didn't find many takers. The Bandra Worli Sea Link (BWSL) that offers a smooth ride in just seven minutes witnesses only 26,000 vehicles every day, 14,000 less than the projected figure.
As a result, Mumbai Entry Point Limited (MEPL), the toll agency on BWSL, has decided to offer discounts to motorists during non-peak hours on weekdays.
