A really skimpy history of the bra
A lingerie manufacturer showcased its latest designs with a fashion show at a suburban hotel on Thursday.

The show was choreographed by Farah Khan while Akshay Kumar with wife Twinkle, Katrina Kaif, Anil and Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar, Riteish Deshmukh and Ameesha Patel lent support.
In fact, from time immemorial, women have tried different ways to support their breasts including iron rods and whale bones. These gave way to the more comfortable corset in early 17th century.

The aim of the early contraptions was to flatten and hide the breasts, but in the 1930s, they finally got recognition with Hollywood beauties confidently displaying their assets.
