Mumbai University Professor Neeraj Hatekar, who was suspended for speaking against the state of affairs in the university and the vice-chancellor, has been re-instated after students thretened to go on hunger strike.

The move occurred after a 10-hour meeting with the management council and the Vice Chancellor of Mumbai University, Dr. Rajan Welukar at Fort campus on Saturday due to which the Professor Dr. Neeraj Hatekar, Econometrics, Department of Economics, has been sent a letter of revoking his suspension today.
