<p>The body of a man was found in a nullah near <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/thane-man-falls-into-nullah-in-kalwa-gets-swept-away-23300314?trending-story" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Kalwa</a> creek in <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/search/thane-all" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Thane</a> on Tuesday.</p>
<p>According to the officials, the age of the man is believed to be 35 years to 40 years.</p>
<p>Yasin Tadvi, the chief of disaster management cell of the Thane Municipal Corporation, said, "The unidentified man's body was spotted around 2 pm near Kalwa creek."</p>
<p>"The body was fished out and sent to a government official for post-mortem following which the police began a probe," added the official.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, The body of a 57-year-old man who jumped from the Bandra-Worli Sea Link here was recovered from the Arabian Sea on Tuesday following a search that also involved the Navy and Indian Coast Guard, an official said.</p>
<p>Garment businessman and Khar resident Tikam Makhija drove to the cable-stayed bridge, parked his car there and jumped into the sea on Monday morning, the official said.</p>
<p>"He was disturbed for the past few days," he said.</p>
