Uddhav’s MLA faces disproportionate assets case: ACB raids properties valued at Rs 3.58 crore

Around seven teams of the ACB comprising officers from Ratnagiri, Thane, and Navi Mumbai were involved in the raid.

The Ratnagiri district Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a disproportionate assets case against the Uddhav Thackeray faction MLA from Rajapur, Rajan Salvi, along with his wife Anuja Rajan and son Shubham Rajan Salvi. The ACB alleges that Salvi possesses properties valued at Rs 3.58 crore, exceeding his reported income by approximately 118.96 per cent, as revealed during the investigation.
 
The ACB team raided his office, house, official bungalow, hotel, and other related places in Ratnagiri district while carrying out the search operation. Around seven teams of the ACB, comprising officers from Ratnagiri, Thane, and Navi Mumbai, were involved in the raid. All documents and other valuables have been seized.

A case has been registered against the MLA and his family under the sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, at Ratnagiri police station, and further investigation is underway.
