19,000 teachers to benefit from Vipassana course

Training sessions started in the year 2011; while 4,000 teachers have already received lessons, 19,000 more are expected to participate in sessions this month; teachers expected to pass on techniques to their pupils

Over 4,000 teachers across the state have been trained in Vipassana (meditation) so that they can teach school students how to develop calmness, practice non-violence and avoid stress. More then 19,000 other teachers from the state will be trained in 2013-14.
