The second phase of polling for 14 seats in 81-member Jharkhand assembly ended peacefully on Wednesday with 45-50 per cent votes cast.

The poll officials informed that 45-50 per cent of polling took place and barring a landmine blast by Maoists killing a CISF jawan in Giridih district, it went off peacefully. The polling began at 7 am and ended at 3 pm, Election Commission officials said here.
