In a bid to promote folk singing talent, inextlive.com, the web portal of Jagran group's compact daily inext, launched iktara yesterday. The initiative will provide the much-needed opportunity to talented folk singers to reach out to people and showcase their talent. <img alt="" src="/imagedata/2012/jan/Logo-iktara.jpg" border="5" /> iktara jury, comprising noted folk singers like Malini Awasthi, Kalpana Patowary, Sangeeta Dhoundiyal, Nandlal Nayak and Mukund Nayak, will select the winners after two rounds of evaluation process.
