SC denies bail to Sajjan Kumar in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case

The top court also declined to allow him to remain in hospital noting that his medical reports establish he does not need hospitalisation

The Supreme Court on Friday declined to grant bail to former Congress leader Sajjan Kumar in a 1984 anti-Sikh riots case.

A bench comprising Chief Justice S.A. Bobde and comprising Justices A.S. Bopanna and V. Ramasubramanian said the appeal against conviction will be heard after the top court resumes physical hearing.
