Cherukuriu00a0Satyanarayana, father of Indian archery coach Cherukiri Lenin, who died in a road accident yesterday said that it was not his son's fault.<br /><br />"My son Lenin was driving and we were almost home. We were coming back from a ceremony organised by Chief Minister K Rosaiah when our car collided with an autorickshaw coming from the opposite side. The accident happened at 2 am on National Highway 5.u00a0 The auto driver violated the rules and was driving in the wrong lane," said Lenin Sr told IANS.<br /><br />Lenin was killed while two CWG silver medallists, Ritul Chatterjee and Chittibomma Jignesh, were injured in the accident near Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh. International archer-turned-coach Lenin, his father, Ritul and Jignesh were returning to Vijayawada after attending a felicitation function in Hyderabad.u00a0Lenin, a former India archer, was one of the coaches of the CWG medal-winning men's and women's team.
