The Lok Sabha Monday passed a bill to repeal laws that have become obsolete or those whose retention as separate acts is unnecessary

New Delhi : The Lok Sabha Monday passed a bill to repeal laws that have become obsolete or those whose retention as separate acts is unnecessary.
The Repealing and Amending (Second) Bill, 2014, was passed after Law Minister D.V. Sadananda Gowda assured the house that the bill need not be sent to the standing committee as it does not involve repeal of any principal act.
