BJP condemns Azad Maidan clashes

A week after the Azad Maidan protest, BJP protests at the same spot condemning attack; leaders go ahead to say that the two young men who desecrated the Amar Jawan Jyoti memorial should be hanged in public
A week after the Azad Maidan riots, Bharatiya Janata Party, carried out a protest from Metro cinema to the Maidan yesterday strongly condemning the clashes. While things were expected to turn ugly with a crowd of 1,500 people, as Mumbai is still fresh with the wounds of last Saturday’s clashes between the police and the unruly crowd, yesterday’s protest ended on a peaceful note.
