BJP guns for Shinde over 'Hindu terror' remark
Updated On: 22 January, 2013 07:16 AM IST | | Agencies
Stepping up its attack on Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde over his remarks on 'Hindu terrorism' and 'saffron terrorism', the BJP yesterday demanded his removal from the cabinet and an unconditional apology from Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said Shinde’s remarks were irresponsible and condemnable, and accused the Congress of practicing vote-bank politics. “I condemn it strongly, very forcefully. It is a malicious comment by the light-weight home minister who does not know what he is talking,” he said.
