I want to sincerely thank all my friends and family members for their prayers and good wishes. God has been kind and Raheema is recovering fast. I also want to thank all my friends from the media for their support and for respecting our privacy," said Rahman.<br /><br />Raheema is currently under observation in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. While hospital officials remained unavailable for comment, sources said that the girl was under the care of the hospital's medical director and intensivist, Dr Vijay D'silva. <br /><br />She was operated upon by local and American doctors on Wednesday night. <br /><br />Raheema is one of Rahman's three children. He has another daughter, Khatija (14), and a son, Ameen (5).</p>
