While clean roads and maintenance of proper sewage system were their primary demands, construction of bridges, hospitals and schools also made the list. But the protestors forgot to follow what they demanded and littered the surroundings before dispersing. While a few just dropped them where they were standing, others threw the waste towards nearby trees, on the road and nullahs. Addressing the party workers after an hour-long meeting with the ward officer, Dutt said, &ldquo;The BMC officials have promised that they will work on the points we presented. But if they don&rsquo;t do anything, we will agitate and intensify our protest. The people have been harassed by them.&rdquo; &lsquo;BMC not listening&rsquo; She also slammed the ruling party in the BMC for its lackadaisical approach in doing civic work. Speaking to MiD DAY, Dutt said, &ldquo;I am following the issue for the last one year, but the BMC officials are not listening. There are several important works that haven&rsquo;t been done in the area. Some of which include cleaning of Kalina talao, playground and renovation of the V N Desai hospital.&rdquo; Despite repeated attempts to contact Dutt about the issue, she remained unavailable for comment. Residentspeak One of the residents of Prabhat Colony said, &ldquo;Such people holding a rally against uncleanliness is beyond one&rsquo;s understanding. Now this waste will remain here until tomorrow. We are finding it difficult to walk, as plastic glasses are strewn all over the place.&rdquo; u00a0
