<div><b><span style="font-size: 12pt; ">Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee Saturday alleged that the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) is conspiring to set up a "suicide squad" tasked to eliminate her.</span></b></div><div><br /></div><div>"These cowards (some CPI-M ministers and leaders) have no courage to fight against me politically and thus forming a suicide squad to eliminate me," she said.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span></div><div><br /></div><div>"CPI-M and some other political parties which have vested interests - I am not speaking about all parties - have held a meeting and hatched a conspiracy to eliminate me. Such a meeting was held, you can inquire," Banerjee told reporters in her residence here.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>She alleged that at the meeting, CPI-M leaders discussed about forming a suicide squad to eliminate her.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>Banerjee claimed that West Bengal government also knew about the meeting.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>"CPI-M ministers and leaders are keeping a watch on my movements. They are enquiring about my movements. A conspiracy is afoot to kill me," she alleged.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>"Is it fair politics? They cannot fight us politically. They are cowards," she said.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>She also alleged a suicide squad was formed by CPM to eliminate Trinamool Youth Congress president and Haldia MP Shubhendu Adhikari.u00a0</div><div><br /></div><div>Asked how she knew about the suicide squads, Banerjee said: "Why is the CPI-M setting up so many camps of armed cadre in West Midnapore? Because they want to kill me."u00a0</div>
