Crime Branch takes over RTI activist's murder case

Home minister transfers case of Bhandup-based BJP activist Vasant Patil, whose wife has alleged that arrested accused surrendered to mislead police while real killer is still at large
State home minister R R Patil on Tuesday transferred the murder case of a Bhandup RTI activist to the Mumbai Crime Branch. The case will now be handed to the Branch’s assistant commissioner of police Prafful Bhosale.
