Drive takes e-waste off citizens' hands

NGO SWaCH and PMC's Kothrud ward office collaborated yesterday to collect items like keyboards, batteries, apart from old clothes, etc, which will be distributed for reuse
Purchased a new cellphone and wondering where to throw the old one? Yesterday, the NGO SWaCH organised a drive ‘V-Collect’, providing an option to permanently dispose of e-waste. Hundreds of residents of Kothrud area enthusiastically participated. The NGO says it may carry out such campaigns in future as well.
