Train services on Konkan Railway route got affected after a goods train derailed between Chiplun and Kamathe stations. According to rail officials, 12 wagons of a goods train between Chiplun and Kamathe station on the route derailed at 0745 hrs.

Accident Relief Trains (ARTs) have left for the site. Konkan Railway officials have also rushed to the site for an early clearance of the line.
