Over the next three days, you can tuck into traditional dishes like Sakkarai Pongal, a rice dish cooked with palm jaggery, coconut and cashew nut, Thakkali Patchadim made of country tomatoes cooked with lentil, coconut and tempered with spices, Dhaniyam Sadam with three variety of beans cooked in coconut and spices, Poricha Kozhambu, which is a coriander flavoured curry cooked with mixed vegetables, lentil and chili and more. You can also end your meal on a sweet note with hot Payasam.

You can relax at this eatery decorated with flower hangings, sugarcane, banana plants and rangoli, while digging into some mouthwatering Sankranti special dishes. On the menu are Mochai Murungai Mandi, a dish with kidney beans and drumsticks cooked in tangy Chettinadu gravy and Podi Sadam, which has steamed rice mixed with gun powder among others.
